The Sprightly, (formerly the smuggler De Reihersekg), a wooden hulled fishing smack, 16 net tons or GRT (the records are in dispute), 13 L x 4 B metres, built 1857 Ostend, Belgium, registered Lerwick, owner Hay & Co. Lerwick, Captain J. Henderson, three crew. Drove ashore from anchor and was wrecked during Force 10 NW wind conditions, in Boorth Noost, Housay, Out Skerries on September 18th 1896.
