St. Ringan's United Free Church, on the Lower Hillhead in Lerwick, has been home to the Shetland Library since 6th March 2002.
When it first opened in 1886, St Ringan's was a United Presbyterian Church but became a United Free Church in 1900 with the union of these churches.
