St. Ringan's Church

St. Ringan's United Free Church, on the Lower Hillhead in Lerwick, has been home to the Shetland Library since 6th March 2002.
The fundation stone was laid on the 27th of June 1885.
When it first opened in 1886, St Ringan's was a United Presbyterian Church, but became a United Free Church in 1900 with the union of these churches.
