The Star, a wooden hulled sailing vessel, laden with a general cargo, 120 gross tons. registered in Denmark.

This vessel was stopped by a German submarine who forced her crew to abandon ship, before sinking the vessel with gunfire, at an unspecified location to the north of Shetland on June 23rd 1917.
