Swarbacks Minn, (HU315615), is an area of water north of the West Shetland Mainland, between the islands of Muckle Roe to the north, and Vementry to the south.
During the First World War, Swarbacks Minn was the anchorage for the 10th Cruiser Squadron. There are still two six inch gun emplacements on the island of Vementry, which were placed there to protect the fleet.
