Shetlopedia - The Shetland Encyclopaedia that anyone can edit
Morula,
That was a great addition. I loved it. :-)
One thought has entered my old braincell though. Some people, particularly the younger generation, might not realise that the "quoted" text is added in original spelling, and we could have people trying to edit it with spell checkers.. :-))) :-)))
It made me think that old text like this should perhaps have a line before it stating that (The following text is as it appeared in the original document),,, or something like that.
What do you think????

If someone wants to change it, then them's the breaks, but I believe enough Shetlopedians monitor changes that it can be "undone". This was a Scottish document and there were one or two words I looked up in the Dictionary of The Scots Language. I didn't think they belonged in The Shetland Dictionary, but it would be nice to add them as footnotes - is there a good or preferred way to do this? Morula 15:18, 10 April 2008 (MDT)
