HE;HE,Robbie!!
If you go back you'll see it :-),you've done something like it afore, that time I just axcpeted it and rewrote some of it and let the rest be...
Oddrun 08:57, 13 October 2006 (BST)
Problem is that I've added info after you deleted, that was the time I discovered it ,so you must go longer back ... :-)

Rollback wouldn't work for some reason, Something strange about the 10th of May. From looking at the 1304 revision it looked like two things happened at the same time, or perhaps I am more confused that normal ... I've put most of it back just the 10th needs correcting it will be easites if you just put that back manually, I'll put back the bit I cocked up.
See dee eftir,

- Right Heimdal - looked after it, but have overseen it amongst all the boats. Added a note to the first line as a preliminary solution. Not sure, but this site might be an example where the site possibly should be devided in two sub-headlines: a) general Shetland history and b) Shetland Bus ... others might make the same mistake like me in "not finding a special event" ...??? Any ideas??? Islandhopper 14:43, 5 March 2007 (MST)
It is not 'Shetland Bus', it is 'Refugees', but I've tried to put the Sheland things on top, if there are more than one entry on the same date.....

It is of course possible to delete all the war things from 'years', and make another calendar on the 'Category:Wartime Shetland', if that will make things easier to read.

- We had an editing conflict ... so all the "rest" of my answer is gone. ;-) But for your last suggestion: No - I think that's not neccessary ...;-) It is just the problem for 3 or 4 years and I don't think it would make sence to split it in different "time line categories" Despite that a category:Wartime Shetland might be a thing to think over, but this category would cover many more aspects than just a "time line" Islandhopper 15:19, 5 March 2007 (MST)
- By the way: thx for correcting to 1850 on the category page ... had to prepare some supper for me and my mum ... :-))) so I forgot ... :-))) Islandhopper 15:21, 5 March 2007 (MST)

We already have a category 'Wartime Shetland' !

I agree that it is only for a few years that there is a lot of info, so would leave it as it is. Reading throught boats arriving, I notice two names I recognise, Sverre Lofnes Aug 41, and Jermius Støylen Juli 42. In later years, Sverre worked for a humanitarian organisation, teaching people in developing countries newer, more efficient fishing methods. Jermius was in the merchant navy and 'disappeared' and was never heard from for about 15 years. Then he came back home to Måløy and wondered what all the fuss was about !Heimdal 15:36, 5 March 2007 (MST)
Great ! ;-), the last one is what we call a "Uteseiler", there were many of those...And that you recognice names are what it is about, others can also have memoris from that time, and a name of a boat can trigger the memory. There were so many things that happened in Shetland at that time, that's not written about yet !
