In the Shetlopedia time line (birth & death dates) Howarth is addressed as "leader" of the Shetland Bus operations. The bio notes I have only confirm (similar to wikipedia) that he was second in command of Lunna base ... therefore I left out info on that here in the article. He was the operational leader....those commando lines were not always so easy to understand in that kind of operations......he organised the base in Lunna, and later in Scalloway..right from scratch....and well I don't know how to form it just now...,Oddrun 08:02, 21 July 2007 (MDT)
