I think this could be Holmengrå lighthouse on the North of the island of Fedje, it's at 60° 47.43N, 004° 40.16E.
Fedje is the current spelling but Feie is the pronunciation. Oddrun will know better ;-))

That would actually make a reasonable amount of sense, the sub had been patrolling off the North Cape for at least more than a fortnight, during which she'd sunk 10 boats there between 26/9 and 11/10. This was No. 11 of the trip, and the last credited to her before January 22nd, when she was working the Bay of Biscay. Would look a bit like she'd just happened across this one on her way home, which would seem more likely than her taking a detour west of Shetland for no obvious purpose, and chancing on a boat to sink there. It makes more sense too that a boat that had also come down around the North Cape heading for East England would be E of Shetland.
