When Alex Wiseman retired, J S Smith (Comm St) was bought by a butcher from Orkney who has recently also taken over the shop in Commercial Road where Magnie Smith was. That makes three businesses in Lk which are Orkney-owned ; Laings, Klaize and Shand Smiths.
