Hello Oddrun,

I know that Joanne has 1713 ... but that's a direct quote from en.wikipedia ... ;-) ... and, sorry, I don't trust wikipedia anymore as far as "Scotland" is related ... not to talk about the "northern isles" ...

RCAHMS gives no date ... so I have contacted both Joanne and RCAHMS for the date on Thursday, but had no answer untill today ... have it on my private "what to check list" for an article of our own website ... ;-)

No prob to correct it, if my printed source is wrong ... ;-)

I suspect that the telephone number for key holder may not be correct as the lady who was custodian for many years 'retired' in 2008. Not sure who took over.

Deleted phone number for the moment; Historic Scotland doesn't give a number at the moment; nothing on there properties website as was in former years. Islandhopper 03:17, 24 January 2009 (MST)
