Maximum/Minimum,, I think the depths given in the marina guide are the minimum depths,, MLWS,, in other words the least depth of water that a visitor can expect in extreme conditions.
Confused again,,, nothing new in that,,  :-)

If you check the link, it gives 3m as the max for the marinaHeimdal 14:57, 11 March 2007 (MDT)

Which Link??? I'm looking at the book. And why would they give a maximum depth? it means nothing to anybody. The minimum depth is the only thing which means anything to any boating person.

He means my link , ;-), You know where that comes from ;-),CHEERS !!!!Oddrun 15:04, 11 March 2007 (MDT)

OK, just looked at that,, those pages were written by a person who has never been in a bath tub, never mind a boat... I meant to quote MLWS, but decided to say minimum because that made sense to non boating people. I was wrong again,,, but not as wrong as the person who wrote the details on that site you added. HE HE
Seriously the only measurement a visiting sailor wants to know is the minimum depth he can expect to encounter. So I will stick by my original detail on this one. :-)))

He he, those must be written by some papermover in some departement, ;-), but they had some nice pics and other info ..., ;-), Oddrun 15:19, 11 March 2007 (MDT)

Oddrun, I like the description, papermover,, The SIC employs many of them, and the nearest to moving paper they get is when they wipe their bottoms... :-) I was just using the info I got as a member of the SMPBCA, the association is updating the details now, and when the new info is available I will update these pages. Some of the position info may also be a bit basic, so I will take my GPS with me in future and check Lat.Long. positions.
