I'd love it if somebody could come up with the truth about this name.
I've written what I was told by a local, hoping it's right. Anybody know????

Many thanks, that would be a great help.
While I've been going through them I've noticed quite a few little things to add, correct, etc., so I want to try and sort some of that as well as adding links to businesses to the settlements and things like that, so I think I've got enough on my plate just now. ;-)
