Showing my ignorance now I guess,, but Pennon?? what does that mean?? I always thought that the word in the song was pennant,, as in flag,, oops !!! Please enlighten me.

Pennon and Pennant are the same thing, but pennon rhymes better in this case ;-), this being the slowest tempo of the three songs, it is usually the one sung by maudlin drunks staggering home ;-)Heimdal 16:17, 23 March 2007 (MDT)
