The Wise Monkeys (????-2006) were a three piece funk band, based in Glasgow.

The members were mostly Shetlanders:

Inness Thomson - (Guitar, Vocals)

Bryan Peterson - (Bass, Vocals)

Mark McGuiness - (Drums, Vocals), Replaced in 2002 by Sean McDill (Drums, Vocals)
