Thomas (Charles' son) Edmondston

Thomas was born around 1825 in Charleston, South Carolina. He was son of Charles Edmondston (b 20th of June 1782) who had emigrated from Shetland to USA.
In 1859 he moved to Shetland and married his cousin Ursula, (or Ursilla), daughter and heir of Thomas Edmondston, (11th Edmondston of Buness - b 15th of January 1779).
In 1866 he published An Etymological Glossary of The Shetland and Orkney Dialect.
He died in 1874 with no heirs.
