Tresta, (HU362510), is a small settlement on the main road to the west Shetland Mainland, between Weisdale and Bixter.
At the head of Tresta Voe, Tresta lies in a valley sheltered from north and east by high hills.
A road leads south from Tresta, past the side of Sandsound Voe, to Sandsound.
Lea Gardens, a popular visitor attraction in Tresta, is the home of writer and horticulturalist, Rosa Steppanova.
