Veer North
Shetlopedia - The Shetland Encyclopaedia
Veer North is a collective of visual artists set up in 2003 in order to provide a supportive professional network for artists living and working in Shetland. Their aim is "to promote contemporary art practices in Shetland and raise awareness of what artists do and how they contribute to the community." They have also developed links with artists and agencies in Scotland and the wider UK, as well as Faroe, Sweden and other parts of Europe.
