Ward of Bressay

The Ward of Bressay, (HU503388), on the island of Bressay at the east side of the Shetland Mainland rises to a height of 226m and is topped by the transmission towers which broadcast TV and radio transmissions, either directly or through relay stations, to the whole of Shetland.
BBC Television started transmitting from the Ward of Bressay on April 21st 1964.
