West Burra Firth

West Burra Firth, (HU250572), old Norse :Vestr Borgafjordir = West firth of the broch, is an inlet from St Magnus Bay, on the north side of the West Shetland Mainland.

At the head of the firth is the settlement of West Burrafirth which has a pier, and a recently completed ro-ro terminal for the ferry to Papa Stour.
