Whalsay Great War Memorial is erected in the kirkyard at Whalsay Kirk. Nearby you can also see the World War II Memorial.

The Memorial has the inscription :
Erected by the people of Whalsay to commemorate their men who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1918.
It bears the names of all all those from this district who fell in the Great War.
