Allan Roy

Allan Roy (b. 9 October 1890, Bellshill, Bothwell, d. 19 September 1970, Aboyne) was a land surveyor, factor to the Gardie estate, hotel proprietor and a Zetland County Councillor for Bressay from 1922 and 1929. He ran the Towers Private Hotel in Ballater for 20 years with his sister, and was married to Isobel Roy.
