The Ben Meidie, a steel hulled fishing trawler, 234 GRT, 37 L x 7 B metres, built 1917, registered in North Shields, England.

This vessel went ashore on Linga, Walls on January 30th 1929. It is not recorded whether she was salvaged or became a wreck.
