The Dorothea, a full rigged ship laden with a cargo of timber, 276 registered tons or tons burden, registered in Arendal, Norway, Captain Lund.

This vessel, in passage from Arendal, Norway to Wexford, Ireland, drove ashore at "Noss" in a waterlogged condition on April 1st 1810.

The hull and material were sold for £489 and One Shilling.

It is not possible to establish from thre record whether this wreck occured on the Isle of Noss, Bressay or at Noss, Scousburgh, but the former is probably the most likely.
