Forewick Holm is a small islet in the Sound of Papa between the island of Papa Stour and Sandness. on the west Shetland Mainland. It was the scene of the wreck of the Highcliffe on 6th February 1940.
Although the holm is small and fairly insignificant it became headline news, in June 2008, when Stuart Hill (known locally as "Captain Calamity") took up residence and declared it to be a crown dependency under the name of "Forvik Island"
