Goodlad Crescent looking north from the Russell Crescent junction, towards Hayfield House.

Goodlad Crescent starts in a westerly direction from Gilbertson Road, past the back of the Gilbert Bain Hospital complex, curving northwards past the east end of Russell Crescent, and on to its junction with Hayfield Lane, just south of Hayfield House.

The road was named after former provost Peter Scott Goodlad.
