Hill Lane, starts between 165, (Dennis Coutts), and 167, (Intersport), Commercial Street, and runs up towards Hillhead at the north side of the parking area which was made after the demolition of the old swimming pool.

Prior to being named by the Commissioners of Police in 1845 this throughfare was commonly known as "Da Green Yairds".
