The Lennok (formerly Cheriton), a steel hulled steamship, 1142 GRT, 70.53 L x 9.77 B x 4.64 D metres, built 1890 J. Priestman & Co. Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, England, owner J. Linde, Pernau, Russia (now Pärnu, Estonia), registered in Pernau, Russia (now Pärnu, Estonia), Captain Raak.

This vessel in passage from Archangel, Russia, to London, England, was stopped by the German submarine U20, Captain Walther Schwieger. The crew were ordered to abandon ship, followed by which she was sunk by gunfire, at a position approx 35 miles NNE of Muckle Flugga, on July 13th 1915.
