The Michelet (alternatively Michael or Michele), a full rigged ship laden with a cargo of oak planks and deals, registered in Danzig, Prussia (now Gdansk, Poland), Captain Volbrecht.

This vessel, in passage to Portsmouth, England, having been previously abandoned by her crew drifted derelict in to Croo Geo, on the west side of Sumburgh Head and was wrecked, on December 8th 1849.
