North Unst War Memorial is erected in the Kirkyard in Norwick.
It is a square stone column with a Celtic Cross on the top.
The head inscription reads :
Erected in grateful memory of the men of this Parish who gave their lives for us in the Great War 1914 - 1918
Their names liveth forever.
Below and on two of the sides is listed the names of all the men who fell in the first World War.
Later, the names of those who fell in the second World War is added on the backside.
On the front base of the memorial is the inscription : Greater love hath no man than this ; That a man lay down his life for his friends.
