Talk:David S. Baxter
Shetlopedia - The Shetland Encyclopaedia
This proves again that Wikipedia is uncorrect....as it has been many times before....we can not use it as a "Bible" as Pett do....Oddrun 16:50, 1 April 2012 (MDT)
- At least most people on Wikipedia know how to work together and don't treat each other like you do. Anyway, a considerable amount comes from Mormon official sites. I expect you didn't notice that. --Pett 08:45, 2 April 2012 (MDT) p.s. I'm surprised you haven't attempted to delete this one yet as well. p.p.s. The story about the whisky company came from a Mormon source of mine, no less. Not Wikipedia.
- Pett, are you deliberately trying to wind people up? Certainly looks like it.
Wikipedia can maybe get away with offending people but that just isn't acceptable on Shetlopedia. Either back off or butt out.

- "are you deliberately trying to wind people up" - No, I'm responding to yet another rude comment from a user on this website. A little petty dig about Wikipedia. (At least most articles on Wikipedia are referenced, unlike this website) Perhaps you need to tell other people to play nice. The above user also deleted an article of mine, saying it was inaccurate, without any proper explanation. I checked out at least two other sources which proved it was accurate. The only reason I can think of that said user deleted it, was some kind of power play.
- "Wikipedia can maybe get away with offending people but that just isn't acceptable on Shetlopedia." - Then I suggest you apply that idea to certain other users, even if they are people you know offline. Many of their comments are rude, aggressive, or unhelpful. Seriously, it seems like some of you are upset I've entered what you think is your private party. As an aside, I doubt Oddrun had ever heard of Baxter before I created this article. --Pett 10:49, 5 April 2012 (MDT)
