West Linga is an island which lies between the larger island of Whalsay and the east coast of the Shetland Mainland. Over 2km long N to S and rising to a height of 52m, it is separated from Whalsay by Linga Sound. To the north and west of the island are a number of smaller islets including, Hunder Holm, Bruse Holm, Ketill Holm, Score Holm, Little Linga, and Wether Holm.
The Anna Dora Stein wrecked on the Calf of West Linga on December 18th 1812.
